Back in Episode 14 we attempted to define intuitive eating, explored what it means to us and gave some tips to getting started. As we said back then, Intuitive Eating goes by a myriad of names and definitions and means different things to different people. So for today's follow-up episode, we've brought a guest along to share her story and experiences.
Christie Inge is what some might call an intuitive eating success story. On her heartfelt blog Honoring Health she has recounted her journey of learning to listen to her body while encouraging others to do the same. Through this, she has found her greatest passion in life and is now a mindful living coach supporting others to bring awareness to all areas of life - food and beyond.
We asked Christie about the "no more diets" moment that led her to try intuitive eating, how she eats now, the joys and struggles of eating mindfully, her favourite resources. We also discuss the question we get the most on this topic - are weight loss and intuitive eating completely incompatible?
