This week Julia's running programme will transport you straight back to the playground! She's spicing up the usual running with some old-fashioned skipping:
Skipping is a basic running exercise that even the elite runners practice on a regular basis. It teaches you to actively use your feet, lift your knees and push off with your legs, all at the same time. It’s one of the best exercises for runners that tend to “shuffle” when they run since it forces them to push off the ground. Plus, it’s fun.
